Our Mission

I had the opportunity to become acquainted with the wine producing region of «Boca» in 1988 as well as with Antonio Cerri, one of the last local wine-growers and was immediately fascinated by the uniqueness and the beauty of the vineyards on the hilly ground near Boca, and by the sumptuousness of its wines as well. It really was love at first sight, and a love that has not waned over the years.

The wines that we have been producing proved, from the start and more and more over the years, that we are on the right track. They show a huge potential. All this encourages me in creating something unique in Boca. Continuous effort is required to produce wines with strong character from this terroir: wines with a high degree of recognisability, a maximum of concentration together with elegance and finesse, with a complexity of depth and aroma suitable for storage and maturation.

The wines of "Le Piane"

Our wines start from a meticulous selection in the vineyard during the harvest with highly educated staff who bring to the cellar only the best bunches already cleaned of each imperfect berry.

This gives us the opportunity to make wines in the most natural way possible by following them with our taste and sensitivity in all their details, to produce balanced, harmonious wines with great potential.

“I've been here since 1998 because I believe in this region historically dedicated to the production of fine wines. The Boca, almost disappeared and forgotten, to be awarded among the 50 best wines in Italy, adding 23rd place in the Best Italian Wine Award and to have best scores and articles among the most important guides worldwide. I would like to thank all those who with commit-ment and will have believed and given space to our ideas. “
